#TurksandCaicos, June 22, 2023 – It has been nearly a week since residents reported a drowning in Providenciales, still Police have not made any statement in the upsetting case.

Civilian reports indicate an employee of a tour company drowned during an excursion.  Initially, it was thought to be a guest to the country.  Soon that report cleared up itself, with no help from officials, yet it remains unclear how the accident happened or how the individual, who appeared to be male drowned.

It is said he worked for a jet ski company.  Whether there were mitigating circumstances which prevented the man swimming to safety and whether he was properly outfitted or able to swim continue to be debated in the public domain.

Photos and videos of the rescue operation appear to show the participation of a police vessel.  There had been an SOS sent out across the islands requesting help in the search operation, last Friday June 16.
