Huge Presence for Hezron Henry; he amazes at Art Fair

June 12, 2023 – When Hezron Henry unveiled his display of bold and eclectic artworks at the Atlatnic World Art Fair, he made a huge impression, literally.

“Hezron will be presenting 4 large-scale works as part of the fair with each piece being roughly 4 feet square, in this precursor of paintings for his newest and most ambitious series since his Tears of the Trouvadore collection, the artist delves deeper into themes associated with identity and its connection to memory; Interweaving flora found in the Turks and Caicos he begins to explore what is lost and what can be gained in the symbiosis between the land and its inhabitants, its mortality and its immortality, its de-evolution, and its fight to survive,” said a statement ahead of the show which opened on June 1. 2023.
The Atlantic World Art Fair is a fairly new but successful showcase opportunity, it spotlights Caribbean artists and that makes it particularly special and helpful to the regional art scene.
Longtime artist, Hezron Henry has been carrying the TCI flag at the event since it opened on June first.

Hezron specializes in paintings; he was selected as an emerging artist in the ‘Curators Picks” category on Artsy.com , a website which hosts the virtual end of the event.
His paintings often feature bold portraits in vibrant colors, deep blues and zesty oranges, forgoing the traditional skin-like shades thus producing striking silhouettes with especially expressive eyes.
Guyanese by birth, he plies his trade online as well as in person and his prints range from $2000 – $7,500 USD with many already sold.
The art show has been ongoing for almost two weeks and will end on Thursday June 15th.
