#TurksandCaicos, June 23, 2023 – A new, multi-million dollar luxury resort investment is coming to Turtle Cove in Providenciales with it the promise of a new sophisticated experience for guests, significant employment and increased tourism dollars for residents; remarkably, it is another Regency Christie’s International Real Estate project, this time brokered by Robert Greenwood, partner and senior broker.

Anya Williams, interim Governor; Washington Misick, TCI Premier and Josephine Connolly, Minister of Tourism with other country leaders and development stakeholders were present at the beachfront groundbreaking ceremony for ‘The Loren at Turtle Cove.’

The Loren will feature twenty-five luxury condominiums, offering unique layouts in a serviced residential setting; the property will also boast six beachfront villas.

The Loren Group makes its debut in the Turks and Caicos Islands with this ‘understated luxury’ development, but already its brand is establishing itself worldwide with a 2022 opening in Austin, Texas and a 2017 opening of a property on Pink Beach, Bermuda.  Loren is scheduled for new resorts in Sardinia; Rome, Malibu, Cabo and Montreal among other destinations.

“What’s up next for us: Five projects totally 450-500 keys and 100-125 residences by 2027,” it shared on the company’s website.

Designs of what is being constructed on the Turtle Cove peninsula were shared by Christie’s International Realty and it boasts a breath-taking dock tailored to welcome multiple yachts, beautiful foliage cradling modern architecture in another multi-story development.

The rooms when complete will overlook Providenciales’ western shoreline and ground floor residences will be meters away from the sand.

The Premiers Office said, “Misick emphasized the importance of balancing development interests with social synergy and triple-bottom sustainability – the environment, economy, and people. He stressed the need for an inclusive environment where everyone can live in harmony and greed doesn’t spoil it for anyone.”

The groundbreaking, on Thursday June 15, was held in tandem with a dazzling sunset, allowing attendees to witness the uninterrupted ocean views from the site, which is poised to revive Providenciales’ first resort hub, Turtle Cove.

Construction is now underway, said officials and the resort is expected to welcome guests by 2026.
