#TurksandCaicos, May 2, 2023 – Leeward Water Service, Ltd. (“LWS”), announced today it is ready to expand water service following a recent court ruling. LWS has been providing clean water to the Leeward Community since the late 1990s and has made significant investments to upgrade the system ensuring reliable delivery of high-quality water service to residents.
LWS is a subsidiary of Seven Seas Water Group, a U.S.-based water and wastewater treatment company operating in the Caribbean since 1996. The company has and will continue to invest in the system to maintain, modernize, and expand operations extending service to residents outside of the Leeward community.
“Our water treatment plant utilizes a robust, proven technology with built-in redundancy to ensure world-class water quality and operational reliability,” said Chief Executive Officer at Seven Seas Water Group, Henry Charrabé. “We have been the reliable water provider to Leeward residents and will continue to do so now and for many years to come. Further, we are in the process of obtaining our island-wide undertaker license to bring this same quality service to other Islanders. LWS is pursuing the expansion of its services while also investing in Leward. LWS is currently moving toward automated metering with leak detection and creating a customer service portal for usage history and online bill payments.
