Two children in the 240 migrants stopped west of Provo

#TurksandCaicos, April 26, 2023 – An astounding 240 illegal migrants were stopped from entering the Turks
In the case of the intercepted illegal vessel, TCI Police in an afternoon update reported being alerted by the coastal radar station of a vessel, headed towards the western shore of Providenciales before daylight.
Around 4:30 am Tuesday officers managed to intercept the 45 foot wooden vessel with hundreds of migrants aboard. There were 49 females and 191 males, included in that number were two children.
Police say this is their 13th interception and 1699 migrants have been caught so far.
