New Accommodation for RTCIPF Serious Crime Investigators

#TurksandCaicos, April 21, 2023 – The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force  Serious Crime Investigations Unit have started working from new accommodations.

The new investigations Headquarters, located on South Dock Road, was commissioned yesterday (April 17th) during a brief ceremony attended by Commissioner of Police Trevor Botting, Assistant Commissioners of Police Kendall Grant and Darron Williams, Supt. Dean Holden and senior leadership of the Force.

Also in attendance were,  Her Excellency Governor (Ag) Anya Williams, Hon. Premier Charles Washington Misick, Deputy Premier Erwin Jay Saunders, Hon. Rachel Taylor , Hon. Arlington Musgrove and Hon. Otis Morris.

In his address, ACP Grant said that security continues to be at the forefront and, “The official (opening) symbolizes our commitment to enhance the workspace of our staff , to one that is conducive to development, growth and improvements to service our communities by ensuring our objectives are met”.

ACP Grant noted, the building includes all the faculties to service the community, not just for those who have broken the law, but the law-abiding.

Her Excellency Governor (Ag) Anya Williams said that Government continues to support the Force financially and the building is a major investment, to ensure the Force is provided with the necessary resources to carry out its role.

During his brief remarks Commissioner Botting indicated  the opening of this headquarters is in keeping with the demand for improved operational excellence and service to the community.
