DERNELLE WILLIAMS APPOINTED AS FINANCE MANAGER

#TurksandCaicos, April 13, 2023 – The Office of the Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Dernelle Williams to the post of Finance Manager in the Financial Services and Supplies Management Department (Treasury) within the Ministry of Finance, Investment, and Trade.

Ms. Williams holds an Associate and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College.

Ms. Williams joined the Turks and Caicos Islands Public Service in 2012 as an Accounts Officer within the Payroll Unit of the then Accountant General Department. With that appointment Ms. Williams was responsible for the critical task of processing, disbursing, and all reporting functions related to payroll for the entire public service.

Ms. Williams, in commenting on her appointment, stated: “Your talent determines what you can do. Your motivation determines how much you are willing to do. Your attitude determines how well you do it.” Lou Holtz”.
