Cory Hamilton, Behind the scenes Production Leader at Magnetic Media

#TheBahamas, April 11, 2023 – She is one of Magnetic Media’s youngest media professionals at 22 years-old.

Cory graduated from Holland College in Prince Edward Island, Canada where she trained in video game art and animation, in which she now has a diploma. This training exposed Cory to computer and video animation software, which proved an asset when she joined Magnetic Media in 2021 as a video news editor.

Prior to her studies at Holland College, Cory attended CC Sweeting Senior High School in her hometown, Nassau, The Bahamas.  Her art studies at the school led to entrance into a competition which brought the young artist notoriety and cemented a Ministry of Education scholarship as a 2018 scholar.

Holland College has a strong reputation in Canada for development in the area of animation; this helped with the level of creativity Ms. Hamilton could bring to the company founded by her aunt.

Currently, Cory is preparing to return for more training as her goal is to continue to build on her expertise in video animation, particularly 3D animation as she aspires to bring new learning and information tools and technology to her home country and clients. For Cory, video editing is not only a thrill, but a serious art form with the unique opportunity to enhance storytelling.
