TCI’s Walter Gardiner Expertise commissioned by St Kitts & Nevis

#TurksandCaicos, March 6, 2023 – Longtime TCI civil servant, Walter Gardiner is again being tapped for his expertise following an invitation from the St Kitts and Nevis Social Security Board to head a compliance and collection  training workshop for the board.

Gardiner who served as Deputy Director of the NIB from its inception in 1991 to 2015 will spend two weeks in the country, hosting the workshop specifically geared towards their Compliance and Inspectorate Department.

Gardiner was the TCI’s first Commissioner of Labour in 1985 and directed the NIB for three years from 2015 to 2017 after advancing from Deputy Director. With a Master’s in Business Administration, his significant experience heading the TCINIB’s collection department he has served as a trainer for several Caribbean countries in the realm of compliance including St. Vincent, Anguilla and Dominica.

According to a press release, Mr. Gardiner would have spent February 20th – March 3rd carrying out trainings in the neighboring country
