#TurksandCaicos, March 24, 2023 – The distressful daily cries of our Turks and Caicos people are disheartening and shocking  to the ears and painful to the hearts of those of us who are truly patriotic and committed to their wellbeing, their progress and to the preservation of government’s precious assets and vital institutions.

However, there needs to be a conscious and realistic realization that while elected politicians should be patriotic trustworthy leaders, all aspiring politicians are not necessarily qualified leaders regardless of age, wealth, social status or even academic prowess.

It is therefore incumbent on the voters to be responsible and come to the glaring realization that the governing of a people and country is not business as usual, but that the complexities and intricacies of governance in this global era that are intertwined with and challenged by the advancing complex global reset, and in our case in the Turks and Caicos, compounded by the additional entangling, draconian colonial bond, call for experienced, knowledgeable, innovative and visionary governance if we as a Turks and Caicos people and country are to be relevant, progressive and empowered . Otherwise, we would continue to be caught up in the swiftly escalating regressive riptide of unfocused, ineffective, non nationalistic governance that is constantly disempowering, distressing and frustrating our already hurting and depressed people who are being relegated to virtually unrecognized nonentities in their own country.

Therefore, the injustice, the exploitation, the discrimination and oppression facing Turks and Caicos Islanders for too long now, must be brought to a grinding halt before our people no longer have a country to call home or anything worthwhile to call their own, but are reduced and relegated to socioeconomic bastards in their own God given homeland. 

My Turks and Caicos people we cannot sit idly by drowning in the sea of apathy and complacency and allow this brutal condemnation to befall us.. SELAH!
