Meet Shanieka Smith

She is bubbly in spirit and great with people. She is also a creative genius which are all great traits ideal for her line of work as a social media journalist. These have surely contributed to Shaneika’s dynamic role at Magnetic Media where she started to work, in December of 2021.

She serves as a news presenter and social media architect for the Turks & Caicos – Bahamas – Caribbean media company.

Shanieka Smith attended the Warsop Primary School in Trelawny, Jamaica where she grew up. Later she would attend Trelawny’s Albert Town High for a time, then Knox College in Clarendon, the only co-ed school in Jamaica that accommodates boarders alongside day pupils.

Ms. Smith soon advanced to the University of the West Indies, Mona, where she mastered her craft in the art of Journalism. She now has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
