#TurksandCaicos, February 9, 2023 – The Turks and Caicos will welcome hundreds of tourism stakeholders and Travel Advisors this August following the announcement that the country has been chosen to host the 2nd Annual ASTA Caribbean Showcase.

This year’s event will more than double the size of the inaugural edition, held in the Bahamas in 2022, bringing in over 300 Travel Advisors to the shores of the TCI.

The showcase serves as a way to put the Caribbean on display connecting businesses, hotels and tour operators with hundreds of Travel Advisors who in turn have connections with millions of potential customers.  The news was revealed Day the ASTA General meeting held in The Turks and Caicos and facilitated by Beaches TCI.

Speaking at the event Gary Sadler, Executive VP of Sales at Unique Vacations Limited, the global representatives of Sandals and Beaches Resorts sponsored what the showcase would be like.

“It’s a showcase of Brand Caribbean, Brand Caribbean is one of those things that is not very well exposed throughout the world. We know it is wonderful and a very inclusive brand— and we’re very happy to have the Turks and Caicos host the ASTA  showcase the brand August 28th – 31st”

Sadler maintained that while it was a very exciting time for tourism regionally, Beaches Turks and Caicos was committed to ensuring the TCI remained front and center.
