#TurksandCaicos, February 15, 2023 – Police had to be called into Clement Howell High and a student was rushed to hospital on Monday, February 13th after a brawl broke out between students outside the school.

Magnetic Media received concerning video footage of the incident on Tuesday and immediately reached out to the police.

They confirmed the incident revealing they were called in around 3:36 pm by a school official indicating a fight was taking place.

Video of the incident shows at least two separate groups of boys tussling and throwing punches in what appears to be a parking lot.  It continues until at least one student screams, ‘he’s bleeding’.  It’s at that point the injured youngster enters the frame bleeding profusely from a slash on the face, his collar stained red.

Police say when they arrived with medical personnel at the school it was revealed the injured individual was a 17-year-old male with a slash to the head.

Despite medical personnel being on the scene, the boy had to be rushed to the hospital.

It is not clear what started the fight, what was used to injure the boy, or whether it was a weapon smuggled onto the compound but police say officers are currently investigating the incident.
