Festive joy for parents as Christmas Day baby born in Providenciales

#TurksandCaicos, January 3, 2023 – Christmas is a time for family, and what could make for a better gift for parents than a newborn baby? A new mother and father are still celebrating the best Christmas present they could hope for – a precious newborn baby boy.Baby boy R.C. was born at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre at 11.40 a.m. on Christmas Day, weighing 3.3 kg.He was the only baby born at the Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital on December 25.  His arrival meant Christmas Day became even more special not only for the parents but also for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team.“Congratulations on this cheerful occasion of Christmas. The bond between a mother and child is one of the strongest in existence. It is a kind of love that is never understood.  I hope you are ready for this adventure.  This is an exciting but tiring time that any mother would not trade for the world. All the best on your motherhood journey. Sounds good.  Thank you to our colleagues who worked tediously throughout the holidays to keep our vital services operational,” said Mikette Been, Chief of Clinical Services.The parents were presented with a gift basket in the form of a baby bathtub containing items for baby R.C.
