Now France heads to the final against Argentina as the first to reach back to back finals since the 2002 Brazil team did it. Diehard fans will remember that the last time Argentina met France in the World Cup history it was the round of 16 in 2018 and they sent Argentina packing.
France is looking to become the first back to back title holders in 60 years. Argentina is looking to claw their way to victory and Lionel Messi is looking to take home his first and what will be his only title as the 35 year old will retire likely after this World Cup.
