Batch #2, More STIMULUS money available for residents

#TurksandCaicos, December 26, 2022 – Batch #2 of stimulus payments was announced as now available earlier in the week for residents to pick up at Government Treasury offices across the islands.

The Government had said that residents who did not see their applications in batch one should sit tight as approvals were still being issued, disbursement of cheques started Wednesday, 21st December and will continue for the next six months.

Applicants must pick up their cheques in that time frame and cash them as they will expire without reissue after that.  Applicants should appear at the treasury/sub-treasury on the island associated with their permanent address to collect the cheque.

TCIG will not be assigning payouts to banks or releasing them to anyone other than the approved applicant.  And if you weren’t in batch two there will be more payments; applications continue to be vetted for approval and an announcement will be made as each batch is ready for collection according to the Premier’s office.
