#TheBahamas, December 20, 2022 – The Bahamas has copped not one but three of the Caribbean Travel Awards for 2023, led by the Caribbean Journal.

The country’s main international airport, the Lynden Pindling International Airport, was named the Caribbean Airport of the Year, the Bahamasair was named Caribbean Airline of the Year, and the Graycliff Sky Bar in Nassau was named Caribbean Bar of the Year.

According to editor and publisher of Caribbean Journal Alexander Britell, “the 2023 edition of the CTA celebrates honorees in 21 different categories, highlighting the hotspots, the difference makers and the reasons why we all love the Caribbean so very much, as selected by the CJ editorial staff.”

Caribbean Journal is one of the world’s largest websites covering the Caribbean region, with content focusing on travel and tourism. It is also one of the leading platforms covering Caribbean consumer travel and trade news. The Caribbean Journal delivers the most up-to-date information on flights to luxury resorts, secret vacation escapes, the best vacation deals, and more.

In the 2022 Caribbean Journal Travel Awards, The Bahamas was named the Caribbean Destination of the Year.  In 2021, The Bahamas was recognised for three awards – Innovative Destination of the Year, Caribbean Airport of the Year: Lynden Pindling International Airport, and Caribbean Restaurant of the Year: Graycliff, Nassau, The Bahamas.
