#TheBahamas, November 25, 2022 – The 4th annual Caribbean Baseball Cup competition will be hosted in the Bahamas from December 4 to 11.  There will be three games daily at the Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium in Oakes Field.

After a recently held press conference, members of the Bahamas Baseball Association’s local organizing committee called the Governor General, Sir Cornelius Smith who said he was grateful for their commitment to making the Caribbean Baseball Cup a success.  Smith said they could never be repaid for their valuable contributions to the island.

He encouraged the group to train their fellow youth to carry on in their footsteps and that soon Baseball would return as The Bahamas’ number one sport.

At the end of the Tournament, two teams will be chosen to compete at the Central American and Caribbean games next year in El Salvador.  The Governor General confidently asked who the next team will be as he expects The Bahamas to qualify.
