#TurksandCaicos, November 29, 2022 – Jamell Robinson, Minister of PPID lists PNP Administration Accomplishments after 19-months in Office.
- Free Education at the Turks and Caicos Islands Community College.
- Reinstatement of pensions and gratuities for civil servants.
- We are in the process of doing the pay and grading review again for civil servants.
- We are in the process of completing the land reform policies, where we have agreed on 164 recommendations, of which we are going to start implementing some of those recommendations to allow persons who have land that they can own relatively soon to regularize a lot of the anomalies over the past.
- We are about 90% complete with the housing policy, which will allow Turks and Caicos Islanders to access properties and homes.
- We have increased access to capital through the Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME Programme).
- We have also, and this is where we need to do additional work, reforms in terms of labour and hiring practices to ensure that Turks and Caicos Islanders get a proper opportunity to move up the ranks.
