SERVICE UPDATE FROM FLOW: FLOW TCI RESTORATION UPDATE #10
#TurksandCaicos, October 12, 2022 –
- 100% RETURN TO PRE-HURRICANE STATUS FOR SISTER ISLES MOBILE NETWORK WITH IMPROVED STABILIZATION
- 100% RESTORATION OF ALL CELL SITES
Additionally, the upgrade project for select cell sites across the islands has resumed.
Grand Turk
Grand Turk fixed broadband restoration is approximately 75% completed.
Approximately 200 customers still out of service, primarily in the Breezy Brae and Lighthouse Road area, where the heaviest damage from the hurricane was sustained.
Additional teams are being mobilized to assist with these faults and repairs.
Flow Country Manager, Joanne Missick, and members of the senior leadership team will be in Grand Turk this week to ensure that restoration is expedited to completion.
South Caicos
South Caicos fixed broadband restoration is 100% completed.
Customers in South Caicos are advised of planned mobile service repairs on Friday, October 14th that will last for approximately four (4) hours. The work is not expected to impact mobile services; however, we ask customers to prepare for possible interruptions in service.
North Caicos
North Caicos broadband fixed restoration is 25% completed.
Additional teams will be deployed tomorrow morning with an aim to achieve 50% completion by end of week.
