Murder Enquiry Launched after Man Shot

#TurksandCaicos, August 20, 2022 – At around 11:45pm on Friday 12th August 2022 a shooting occurred in South Dock Providenciales. It is believed that a number of shots were fired into a vehicle as it was leaving an address in the area. The driver of the car, a man received fatal injuries and a female in the vehicle was received serious injuries.

Commissioner of Police Trevor Botting said, ‘This appears to be a targeted attack but detectives are keeping an open mind as to the motive. As always, if anyone knows anything about this shooting, please call 911 or tell CrimeStoppers. We cannot just accept this level of violence and we need to work together to stop the cycle of shootings. If you know something, please say something’.
