#TurksandCaicos, August 20, 2022 – Local artist HezronH has made another move in establishing himself as an undeniable international talent; this time partnering with “Black Pony” a Bermudan-based gallery. Championing mainly Atlantic-based and the wider Caribbean artists challenging the definition of traditional “Island art,” the gallery is managed and owned by Lisa Howie former executive director of Bermuda National Gallery and founder of the Atlantic World Art Fair.

Within the art world, such a partnership hints that an institution has seen the need to be invested in the work of an artist and the works they will produce in the future; a process that stabilizes the artist’s market protection and sets up sales growth. As a result of this partnership, Hezron will now have access to millions of art buyers worldwide on the gallery’s Artsy platform along with art from notable contemporary artists such as Bradley Theodore, Banksy, and Kerry James Marshall, whose art are also available via other galleries and private collectors. Artsy facilitates over $20 million in art sales each month through their programme with galleries like Black Pony, with buyers and sellers having an average of 3000 miles in distance.

With art business partners and art collectors around the world, Artsy is the leading marketplace for reaching a global audience. Artsy lets collectors find their favorite artists—and discover some new ones—all in one place. They bring together over 1 million artworks from a network of 4,000+ partners, including the world’s leading galleries, auction houses, fairs, and institutions. To connect collectors to the art they care about, they feature the largest selection of international emerging, established, and blue-chip artists.

With a global network of 2.5 million+ art enthusiasts, Artsy boasts unique monthly visitors from 190+ countries with over 3 million visitors making it the most visited art marketplace in the world.

Hezron along with Black Pony Gallery will be launching a solo exhibit titled “DEUS” on Artsy including some of the artist’s recent works. The exhibition goes live on August 12th, 2022, on www.artsy.net/partner/black-pony-gallery/viewing-rooms.
