BA to link two Caribbean Tourism powerhouses

#Caribbean, August 21, 2022 – British Airways (BA) has announced that it will begin flights to Aruba and Guyana with a new direct flight to Trinidad and Tobago starting next year.

The new London Gatwick (LGW) flights will begin operating in late March 2023 on the Boeing 777-200 aircraft. This will bring the total number of Caribbean destinations served by the London carrier to 17.

British Airways is the biggest UK carrier to the Caribbean. The airline will begin flights from Trinidad (POS) to London Gatwick (LGW) on March 26, thrice weekly. The route was formerly operated via St. Lucia.

Flights between Oranjestad, Aruba and London will operate twice weekly via Antigua.

Flights from Georgetown, Guyana, will operate twice weekly via St. Lucia.
