South Caicos man shot; new Murder Investigation opened & police need info

#TurksandCaicos, July 25, 2022 – It has driven his family and friends into deep mourning; shocking news coming early on Sunday that the latest murder for the Turks and Caicos is a son of the South Caicos soil, who was shot and later died at hospital.

From the Police report:  “MURDER INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY RTCIPF investigators have launched a murder investigation. At 3:11am on Sunday 24th July 2022, the Police Control Room received a report of a gunshot at a business establishment on Blue Hills Road. Police Response Units were on scene at 3:14am. The male victim was transported to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre, where he later succumbed to his injuries at 5:30am. Investigations are underway for this incident.”

It is said the young man was at the night club located in Rock Plaza on Millennium Highway, in Blue Hills.  It is reported that a private car rushed him to the ER.
