#TurksandCaicos, June 25, 2022 – Passed in the House of Assembly on Thursday June 23, 2022 is the Turks and Caicos Islands Grand Turk Enhancement and Sustainability Agency Bill 2022.
This bill provides for the establishment of an agency to have oversight and execute projects and services that will construct, upgrade, preserve and rehabilitate infrastructure throughout the island so that the rich cultural heritage and history are maintained.
The fund stands at $8 million dollars and residents will begin to see a massive island wide cleanup and renovations to Historic Cockburn Town.
