#TurksandCaicos, April 21, 2022 – The latest COVID-19 dashboard has been released; this dashboard collects information from April 10-16.
As cases mount around the World the Turks and Caicos remains steady, with only nine new cases recorded last week bringing the total active cases to 32.
There were no recoveries, hospitalizations or deaths charted in the newest report.
This low incidence of coronavirus infection has resulted in TCI on April 18, 2022 being raised to a Level 2 Travel Advisory.
“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has determined the Turks and Caicos Islands have a moderate level of COVID-19. Visit the CDC page for the latest Travel Health Information related to your travel.”
The TCI Ministry of Health reminds that as part of living with COVID, the expectation is residents will continue with protocols and preventative measures like hand washing as the TCI continues to move toward a fully open economy.
