March 18, 2022 – Iodine pills are flying off of virtual shelves and real ones.  ‘Out of stock’ is the message those trying to buy them are getting.  They are being sold out everywhere because around the world people believe a nuclear attack is imminent.

The war in Ukraine is dark and while it is not the only unjust conflict raging and pillaging innocent people on planet earth, it is one which has one of the world’s nuclear powers clashing with civilians.

It seems a madness that could trigger the third world war.

Iodine pills protect from radiation and Bloomberg has reported a one hundred fold increase in demand for the pills. In the U.S., sales are up 90 percent.

Today.com reporter, A. Pawlowski wrote that the iodine pills protect from thyroid cancer because they fill up the thyroid, making it less likely the thyroid will absorb any radioactive poisons in the atmosphere; the kind which permeate the atmosphere after a nuclear explosion.

Children, pregnant women are particularly vulnerable to the absorption and there is a recommendation for daily doses, the iodine can be bought over the counter, but a physician should prescribe it.

There are only a few brands approved by the FDA and both the FDA and the CDC are issuing warnings about the product.

The pills people are buying will only protect the thyroid informs the experts cited in the news report; if there is a nuclear bomb dropped where you are… well, let’s just say, the pills would be irrelevant.
