#TurksandCaicos, March 16, 2022 – “If you get money tonight, what’s the most important thing?  What are you gonna use it for?”

That was the question posed to saxophonist and singer Jenardo Laporte by rapper Drake as the two along with Jack Harlow sat down for a game at the Shore Club.

Just moments before he would be handed $20,000 Laporte answered: “My kids.”

Seconds later on the father of three was visibly shocked at the sight of cash being presented to him.  Immediately he stood up locking Drake into a big hug.  His reaction was shared not only with Drake’s 104 million followers but with the world.

The Tootsie Slide rapper who has sold over 170 million records, won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, a record 29 Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, and three Juno Awards, and holds several Billboard Hot 100 Chart records told Laporte his version of one of Drake’s songs was ‘better than the original.’

“Your rendition of Hold On We’re Going Home blew me out of the water.  It’s better than the OG,” The rapper said on a video that has since gone viral.

The good deed was made possible on behalf of both Drake and new cryptocurrency betting platform Stake.

This isn’t Drakes first giveaway and Laporte himself referenced the iconic, God’s Plan music video where the rapper also surprised unsuspecting persons with cash.

Days before, another Turks and Caicos cash gift was lavished on a fan.  The report said the young man received $10,000 from Drake.  He too gripped the Toronto-born rapper in a bear hug as relatives looked on screaming, cheering and crying.

Big musicians seem to have a habit of falling in love with the TCI as the late Prince actually whisked Quinton Dean, a popular musician from Provo away from home for an on the road tour.  Prince reportedly became a fan of Dean during his stays at the Amanyara Resort.

As for Jenardo, he was visibly grateful, exchanging a long hug with both Drake and Jack.
