UWI wins an AVA; Digital Industry prize for marketing

#February 16, 2022 – The University of the West Indies has, this month, been awarded an AVA Digital Awards Gold Award for its marketing and branding.

The AVAs bestow awards for excellence in digital creativity branding and strategy and are judged by the association of marketing and communication professionals.  The university was awarded for its recent redesign of its central website

UWI was in fabulous company, having been awarded with global brands like Virgin, Dell, DHL, AT&T, BET network and Al Jazeera media.

“Positioning the university’s reputation and brand strategy in the international digital space is a significant achievement, which speaks to its effectiveness,” Vice Chancellor, Professor Sir Hillary Beckles said in acceptance of the award.
