Press Release: Three Persons Charged by the Integrity Commission
#TurksandCaicos, February 26, 2022 – Investigators from the Turks and Caicos Islands Integrity Commission have charged three persons with offences of Corruption and Conspiracy to cause Misconduct in Public Office.
Two of the individuals involved are serving Immigration Officers, who remain suspended from duty as a result of the
Immigration Officer Wendy Seymour was charged on 23rd February 2022 at Chalk Sound Police Station.
Immigration Officer Andrea Saunders was charged on 24th February 2022 at Grand Turk Police Station.
The third individual, Carine Charite was charged on 25th February 2022 at Chalk Sound Police Station.
They were subsequently bailed to attend Providenciales Magistrates Court on 22nd March 2022, and Grand Turk Magistrates Court on 10th March 2022 respectively.
No further comment will be made at this time.
