February 7, 2022 – Maybe you’ve heard but the CDC is now acknowledging natural immunity as effective in the fight against COVID-19. A CDC report reveals that surviving COVID provides excellent natural immunity and staves off repeat infection, hospitalization and death for the deadliest, Delta variant.

In fact, not only is natural immunity found to be effective but it is more effective than the vaccine informs the study conducted on four groups of people in NY and California between May and November 2021.

The article in The Hill, published on February 2 online, reminds that’s how immunity works and why the vaccines work. They mimic immunity.

The CDC is now being called upon to update policies; allowing proof of previous COVID infection to be used as equal to proof of being vaccinated.

If vaccination was coupled with Covid recovery, the cumulative figure would send national coronavirus immunity rates rocketing, possibly making mandates and restrictions imposed by governments obsolete.   The acceptance of natural immunity has the potential to radically shift government focus, end the many arguments and law suits linked to mandates and bring more buoyancy to the economy, though risks would remain high.

It is said by Dr. Jeffrey Klausner, clinical professor of Medicine, Population and Public Health at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California: “dismissing those with prior infection was always unfair, now science backs it up.”
