10-Year-old hit, survives armed attacker in Providenciales gun crime
#TurksandCaicos, February 23, 2022 – A police statement on Tuesday night (February 15) confirmed the shocking situation; a ten-year-old is in the hospital after being injured in a robbery in Blue Hills. 
The 10-year-old, thankfully, was not seriously injured in the incident that took place around 8:22 pm.
The police said shots were fired, but the statement did not say whether it was one of those shots which hit the child. Sources to Magnetic Media say the girl was grazed by a bullet.
It is also unclear where this incident occurred exactly; a home or business or on the streets. It happened off Millennium Highway and escalate concerns about the unbridled and unnecessary levels of violence perpetrated in the crimes.
