#TurksandCaicos, December 15, 2021 – More boom in tourism on the horizon for the Turks and Caicos Islands as increased flights are announced and three new routes begin next week.

Frontier Airlines has announced it will link Providenciales to Orlando, Florida.  The low cost air carrier is beginning nonstop flights from Orlando to Providenciales, on December 17 and according to Travel Pulse, which carries the announcements for two new connections from the United States, it will be $59 one way for travellers.

Sun Country Airlines is also adding to flight offerings with a nonstop from Minneapolis to Providenciales beginning December 18th for $159, “helping Midwesterners reach the islands without all of the usual stops and flights that can add up,” said the report.

Turks and Caicos’ own, interCaribbean Airways will add a connection between Barbados and Providenciales.

Mr. Lyndon Gardiner, Chairman of the airline informed Magnetic Media, his 50-seat, Embraer will make the journey, taking travellers through Antigua and Barbuda onto Barbados, for a seamless commute which gets you from here to there in mere hours.

December 17th is also when interCaribbean Airways will run an inaugural flight from Barbados to Guyana, solidifying the TCI company as the airline with the broadest inter-regional reach from within the Caribbean.
