Police:  Hit & Run as man left for dead; Shooting in Blue Hills & Cutlass Carrying Robbers At Large

#TurksandCaicos, December 22, 2021 – Millennium Highway was the scene of an accident on Saturday afternoon that left a man badly injured. The man seemed to have been hit by a motor vehicle and individuals on the scene said the situation looked bad; it was though the man, who remains unidentified by Police had died.

Police confirmed that the man survived the horrible incident.

Police say that on Saturday the man was struck by a silver Toyota car that then fled the scene. Adding, when they arrived the man was lying in the road with head injuries and was taken to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre where he is receiving treatment.

Magnetic Media was also informed of a shooting incident on Sunday that left a man injured.

Police say the incident occurred around 4pm in the Blue Hills area. The man was shot in the leg by another man after an argument between the two. He was also taken to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre for treatment.

Finally from Police, around 10pm Sunday, a man was robbed by masked men carrying cutlasses. The incident happened in Providenciales, however no specific address was given.  The male victim was robbed of his wallet and cellphones.

The police are urging anyone with information in regards to these incidents to call 911 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1 800 TIPS that is 1 800-8477
