Outrage at Killing at Alpheus Gardiner
#TurksandCaicos, October 18, 2021 – This only happened in TCI simply because the criminals are fully aware of the fact that there isn’t anything to be concerned with on the other side of the door or upon entering a resident, or just pulling up on a person and demanding their belongings. Entering a business is the same thing. Businesses are wide open to criminals and totally unprotected.
However if these criminals know for sure they would be faced with a serious challenge and their lives are at stake, I assure you this would be a serious game changer in our country (because now the criminals would have to factor in their lives, their safety and security). But currently they are completely unchallenged and there is no need for them to have any kind of fair or concerns.
The majority of criminals that I’ve dealt with in my police career and even today’s modern criminals; basically are deathly afraid of being challenged and extremely concerned for their lives.
The majority of them believe it or not, are seriously afraid plus they are actually cowards. These criminals are bold “with a gun in their hands” when they are very sure the citizen is without any kind of threatening protection to harm them in return.
If you notice; when these criminals commit a robbery (the first thing they do after they committed the violence) is run like hell! Escape for safety before the police arrive. Why? It’s simple, they know the police now a days have GUNS and the police will shoot them! So they cowardly run away afraid for their lives.
“Scientific warfare” I shoot you don’t shoot back, I kill you but please don’t kill me”. I mentally have to save myself so I have to run and hide; because they don’t want to be shot or killed.
Criminals don’t rob people and walk away boldly and impose a challenge to police . No no no, they are afraid of being challenged. However in other countries, it’s not only the police criminals afraid of; ( they are more afraid of citizens than the police, because in other countries citizens are armed and will be a serious challenge to any criminal.
However TCI does not have citizens challenging or defending their families or their properties. The criminals can do whatever they want with our people and most cases they only get a slap on the wrist and in a few short years they are back on the street only to repeat themselves and be right back where they started.
