TCIG meets with Carnival Cruise Line ahead of resumption of cruising in the Americas
#TurksandCaicos, May 5, 2021 – The Premier and Minister for Finance, Investment, Trade and the Turks and Caicos Islands Investment Agency, Honourable Charles Washington Misick met with executives from the Carnival Corporation on Monday, 3rd May 2021 at the Office of the Premier in Providenciales.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the Turks and Caicos Islands Government’s partnership with Carnival Corporation to enhance and develop tourism offerings on the island of Grand Turk.
Attending the meeting also was the Minister for Infrastructure, Housing, Planning and Development, Honourable Akierra Missick, Minister for Home Affairs, Honourable Otis Morris, Principal Crown Counsel- Commercial Division, Attorney General’s Chambers, Yaa McCartney, Permanent Secretary and Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Athenee Harvey-Basden and Mrs. Shonia Thomas-Been.
