#TurksandCaicos, April 29, 2021 – After a 14-month closure forced amidst the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Turks and Caicos National Museum location in Providenciales is reopening on May 1, May Day.
President of the Turks and Caicos Museum Foundation, Seamus Day informed on Wednesday of the return of the site, which is home to a showcase of TCI relics and an original native home, opens with official visits from the Governor, H.E. Nigel Dakin and Hon Josephine Connolly, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Heritage.
“This is the first time the Museum has been open in 14 months and marks a significant milestone for us. The museum is also being manned by a group of volunteer residents going forward.”
On May Day reopening, entry to the museum is free. The Turks & Caicos National Museum Provo Campus will be reopening on Saturday May 1st 2021, 10Am – 2PM.
