In keeping with a long-term commitment to fostering interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) since 2009, FortisTCI, in conjunction with the Department of Education, has hosted the National Science and Technology Fair for primary and high schools. On March 4-5 this year, the company sponsored and hosted a virtual STEM training workshop for primary and high school teachers, and a virtual science experience for students, both facilitated by Dr. Shirin Haque, Caribbean Astronomer and Senior Lecturer at the University of the West Indies.
