Two locals open up 1st 100% plant based Cafe & supplement store in the TCI

PRESS RELEASE: Well known recording artist Jack (David Lightbourne) and Dr. Marcela Malcom of Carolina’s Clinic are co-partnering on The Farmacy Cafe and supplement store located at the IGA Plaza, Leeward Hwy.

Lightbourne told us that amidst the pandemic, he knew that certain business opportunities would present itself, even though the economy was experiencing a hit. He believed that persons were much more health conscious, in need of boosting their immune system in the unlikely case of being exposed to covid, and others simply wanted to lose weight. He said that this presented a great opportunity to help residents while creating a new business brand.

Dr. Malcolm expressed being very excited for the opportunity to meet the health needs of the public, stating that there’s absolutely no where else in the TCI for persons wanting to experience a complete plant based diet and lifestyle. The Farmacy provides excellent alternatives to meat products and has a list of delicious products that includes plant based burgers, tacos, breakfast eggs, sausages, deserts, supplements and a list of other plant based meals that are healthy.

Both Dr. Malcolm and Lightbourne were thankful for the support they’ve received since launching their venture.
