The Keynote speakers included Madam Justice Mabel Agyeman, Chief Justice of the Turks and Caicos Islands, Superintendent Lisa Mitcheson, Head of Crime and Public Protection – RTCIPF, Nutritionist Tamika Handfield, International Speaker Sheba Wilson, International Coach Yolande Robinson and Physician Dr Dawn O’Sullivan.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rodney Adams said, “The Force Executive will continue to identify and remove barriers to employment and promotion for women in Policing. We have always tried to ensure that women see policing as a legitimate career option so that our organisation reflects the community we serve. Although there is still much work to be done, female officers span all levels of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force, from Senior Management (Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent), Inspectors and Sergeants, and specialist positions to frontline patrols. We plan to build on this and provide opportunities for further advancement.”
