TCI: Premier and Minister of Finance met with protesting Air Traffic Controllers
#Providenciales, October 28, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – The Minister of Finance and Premier, Hon Sharlene Cartwright Robinson supported by the Deputy Premier Hon Sean Astwood and Minister Hon Vaden Williams and the Chairman of the TCIAA Board, Mr Andre Malcolm supported by Director of TCIAA Board Mr. Godfrey Been and Acting CEO, Mr. Floyd Ingham is pleased to advise that following a successful Meeting, the Air Traffic Controllers have agreed to return the work and as such flights will resume tomorrow morning, Saturday, October 26th, 2019 at 6.00am.
We wish to publicly thank the Air Traffic Controllers for their facilitation earlier today of an emergency medical flight.
We sincerely wish to apologise to the traveling public for this inconvenience.
