TCI Police: Non-Official Message/Image
#Providenciales, October 15, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – A WhatsApp message/image has been circulating since yesterday October 14th, 2019, alleging that gunmen attacked a family, amputate a relative’s hand, and forced the family to withdraw money from the ATM, is not authentic to the Turks and Caicos Islands and is not an Official Police report.
The public is kindly asked to refrain from circulating information that is not confirmed or officially publicized by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force. Doing so, will cause unnecessary fear amongst residents.
