TCI: Police investigate early morning robbery
#Providenciales, October 2, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Police are investigating a Robbery at a Millennium Highway Apartment early Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019. According to the 47-year-old male complainant, three armed men entered his apartment around
2:00 a.m. and demanded money.
The culprits removed US$550.00 from the complainant’s wallet before he was forcibly taken into his grey Toyota car to an ATM to withdraw $US1000.00.
The culprits drove into Blue Hills and robbed a restaurant manager at gunpoint, taking an undisclosed amount of cash. A female staff was assaulted by the culprits who left with her purse. The culprits then drove along the Millennium Highway onto Bay Road and escaped on foot into nearby bushes.
The 47-year-old male who was left inside of the grey Toyota car was unharmed.
