TCI: Police are investigating weekend robberies
#Providenciales, September 9, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Police on Providenciales responded to the Max Mini Mart on the Airport Road on Saturday, September 7th, 2019, following reports of a Robbery. According to 911 Central, at 3:14 p.m. they received a called that an armed man robbed the store of an unknown amount of cash. There were no shots fired or injuries reported in this incident.
On Sunday, September 8th, 2019 around 12:23 a.m., calls to 911 Central were that a robbery had taken place at the Diana’s Restaurant at the Market Place. According to the complainants, two masked men with firearms entered the restaurant and demanded money. Taken were two female purses, three cellular phones, jewelry, cash, identification and bank cards. The robbers escaped on foot.
