TCI: Man Found Dead
#Providenciales, July 28, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Shortly after 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 27th, 2019, following a report to 911 Central, officers discovered the body of a young man on the porch of a house in Five Cays, Providenciales.
Whilst the circumstances of the death of the man are not clear, an investigation has been launched by officers from the Serious Crime Unit.
Commissioner of Police, Trevor Botting said “This is a tragic death of a young man and my thoughts and those of my officers are very much with his family and friends. My detectives are working to establish the circumstances of his death and I would ask that anyone with information, contact the Serious Crime Unit. I am aware that photographs of the scene are being circulated across the island. Some of these photographs are very distressing and I would ask that out of respect for the victim and his family and friends and common decency, such photos are not distributed further.”
