#Providenciales, July 4, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – The talented employees of Beaches Turks and Caicos took center stage at the recent Sandals Festival of the Arts competition where the resorts best dancers, singers, spoken word artistes, models and entertainers competed for a shot at the regional competition featuring some of the brands finest creatives.

Ten Beaches Turks and Caicos employees traveled to Jamaica for the mega festival which featured 70 other talented contestants from the Beaches and Sandals brand across the Caribbean.

It was a night of creativity, pomp, flair, big wins and notable mentions for the Beaches Turks and Caicos team.

Housekeeping Attendant Romario Brown made history for Beaches Turks and Caicos after winning best male model marking the first time Beaches TCI has won that category.

Commenting on his win Brown noted, “It was an amazing experience to represent Beaches and to win this award for my resort. I’m thrilled and grateful to have been given this opportunity to show my creativity.”

Beaches Turks and Caicos Entertainment Director, David Ellis called the Festival of the Arts “an excellent opportunity for staff to find their creative outlet.”

He further noted that the competition gives employees a chance to showcase their skills outside of the workplace, stating; “This is a great opportunity to show the diversity of our team members. The event is a great confidence booster for our team who may not always get an opportunity to appear center stage. I think it’s fantastic that our company has programmes that allow employees to travel to another resort and engage with other employees across the brand. This really helps to elevate them and boost staff morale.”
