Illegal Firearm and Ammunition Recovered on Grand Turk
Grand Turk, July 6, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – At 11:30 a.m. Saturday July 6th, 2019, officers on Grand Turk, acting on information during a stop and search in the area of South Back Salina recovered an illegal firearm and three rounds of ammunition.
The 28-year-old man who tried to run from police, was arrested for Obstruction, suspicion of keeping a firearm and ammunition.
The man remains in Police Custody. Investigations are ongoing.
