TCI: Unanimous return of Sharlene, Sean & Doug as PDM Party Leaders

#Providenciales, June 18, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – In a media statement, the PDM governing party announced that it has kept its leadership in tact and is now even more committed to its ‘change’ mandate.

“During the business session of the party on Saturday June 15th 2019 delegates voted unanimously to reelect Hon. Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson – Leader, Hon. Sean Astwood – Deputy Leader and Hon. Douglas Parnell-National Chairman.”

A Monday evening media release, issued by returned National Chairman, Doug Parnell did little to give specifics on the discussions but it did say, “The PDM came out of its weekend convention stronger, resolved to further its mission of bringing change to the Turks and Caicos Islands. The Government party is firmly ‘on the road to change’…”

Other executives of the PDM, heading out of its June National Convention are:  1st Vice Chair- Karl Bain; 2nd Vice Chair – Patricia Saunders Assistant, Secretary General – Gladys Kennedy, Assistant Treasurer- Robert Been Jr.; Party Whip – Whitney Bain, National Chaplin – Charles Garland; Trustees: Llewelyn Handfield, Hon. Derek Taylor, and Princie Harris; Ashwood Forbes, is the Secretary General.

The PDM Convention was held this past weekend.
