TCI: Premier Robinson – “Thank You; I am well”
#Providenciales, June 24, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Minutes after midnight, the Premier issued a statement saying ‘Thank You’ after being released from hospital in Jamaica after suffering dehydration while attending the funeral of the late Edward Seaga, former Jamaican Prime Minister.
“I wish to thank you all for your prayers and concerns. I did collapse following the Graveside Ceremony for the Most Hon Edward Seaga. The medical team on hand attended to me swiftly and I was transported to the University of the West Indies Hospital where I received commendable care. I wish to thank the Team of Doctors and support staff. I will return home tomorrow, Monday June 24th as planned.”
