DEATH OF 9-YEAR-OLD

At 12:24 p.m., Tuesday June 11th, 2019, central received a report that a 9-year-old male was taken to hospital and pronounced dead shortly after.  Details surrounding the cause of death is unknown at this time. However, the matter is under investigation by detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.  

KEW TOWN ROBBERY

Police responded to a robbery on Black Crow Road Kewtown around 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, June 11th 2019.  According to reports, two armed gunmen dressed in dark clothing robbed a 43-year-old man of his wallet, two cell phones and green Toyota Car, before fleeing towards Walter Cox Drive. Anyone with information into this matter, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or 911.

MAN ASSAULTED AT A PROVO CHICKEN SHACK

Officers of the Criminal Investigation Department responded to a report that a 35-year-old man was attacked at a downtown Chicken Shack on Wednesday June 12, 2019. According to reports, the man arrived at Hospital at 6:50 a.m., with wounds to his right arm. He was approached by a known man with a machete. This incident is under investigation.
